The Billboard Music Awards 2012

Did you catch the Billboard Music Awards yesterday? Some big name artists came out to celebrate this night in music, perform and take home a few awards. There was a special tribute to the late, great Whitney Houston and Donna Summers.

Awards were given out in every category ranging from top pop song right through to the top Christian song. Adele dominated the list of winners, taking home 12 Billboard awards.

Ninja Fave: LizLizLive Makeup Tutorial Videos

One of my guilty pleasures is watching the makeup and beauty tutorials on Youtube. I never actually put any of the information into practice because frankly I'm far too lazy for all of that, and my boo has convinced me that he prefers the natural look (code for he just want me to hurry the hell up when we're going out). However, I am thoroughly entertained by the creativity and the artistry of the young women behind these videos. Two of my fave beauty channels are LizLizLive (pictured above) and nguerriero19 .

 LizLizLive is a gorgeous girl from London whose lilting British accent and skillful beauty tutorials keep me and millions of other watchers entertained for hours. She also wears oversized pearl stud earrings that look exactly like mine, which I thought was a cool coincidence. nguerriero19 is equally as entertaining but for completely different reasons. She has the most hilarious makeup faces and a quirky attitude that I can really relate to. Plus her make up and beauty tutorials are top notch.

It's saying that you will have times when you are down and out, when you feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders; but you've got to fight through it and do all you can to over come it.

Lola Monroe is an up and coming rapper who was recently signed to Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang. The former video vixen was born in Ethiopia and raised in Washington D.C. In recent years she has shown that she is more than just a pretty face and a big booty. Monroe has some real skills and a proven business acumen when it comes to the entertainment industry.
